As a traditional German manufacturer of wool felt, we produce a wide range of felt qualities for diverse applications. With our cross-generational expertise and extensive machinery, we manufacture products of the highest quality. Our felt rolls are supplied, among others, to manufacturers of bags, cases, decorative items, placemats, runners, coasters, key rings, footwear, curtains, and carpets.

We supply both semi-finished products (roll goods and cut-to-size pieces) as well as finished items. Our Design Wool Felts are often combined with other natural materials such as leather. In interior design, our premium felt by the metre is also used for applications such as wall coverings.

Fire Safety

Wool is naturally flame-retardant due to the inherent properties of the fibre. With additional finishing, it can meet the following classification standards:

Classification B-s2, d0 according to EN 13501-1 (flame-retardant)
Tested for both direct application to mineral surfaces (e.g. wall coverings) and use with wall clearance (e.g. curtains or room dividers)

Wie wird Wollfilz hergestellt?

Die Produktion ist sehr aufwändig und viele Schritte sind notwendig. Kurz zusammengefasst: Wollfilz entsteht durch das Verfilzen von Wollfasern unter Einwirkung von Feuchtigkeit, Wärme und mechanischem Druck. Unsere 125-jährige Erfahrung garantiert höchste Qualität in diesem traditionellen Verfahren.

Ist Wollfilz waschbar?

Grundsätzlich ist bei allen Filzstärken eine chemische Reinigung möglich. Reinigen Sie Filzprodukte bei empfohlener Handwäsche schonend mit rückfettender Seife, spülen Sie sie gründlich aus, lassen Sie sie flach trocknen und dämpfen Sie sie bei Bedarf leicht mit dem Bügeleisen.

Welche Stärken sind verfügbar?

Standardmäßig führen wir 2 mm, 3 mm und 5 mm ab Lager. Stärken unter 2 mm und über 5 mm sind auf Anfrage möglich.

Können individuelle Farben hergestellt werden?

Ja, unser hausinternes Farblabor kann nahezu jede gewünschte Farbe einstellen. Sprechen Sie uns für individuelle Farbwünsche an.

Ist Wollfilz für Allergiker geeignet?

Unsere OEKO-TEX^® STANDARD 100-zertifizierten Wollfilze sind schadstoffgeprüft und grundsätzlich gut verträglich. Bei speziellen Allergien beraten wir Sie gerne individuell.
