HEY-SIGN LIVING stands for genuine craftsmanship, premium materials, and true responsibility – from fibre to finished product. We use only wool felt made from 100% pure new wool – with no recycled fibres or chemical additives. This felt is skin-friendly, breathable, temperature- and moisture-regulating, and naturally sound-absorbing thanks to its structure – ideal for a pleasant indoor climate. Our products are handmade exclusively in Germany, with short supply routes, EMAS-validated environmental management (Offingen, Meerbusch), and a consistently sustainable approach. The result: durable, aesthetically refined products made with responsibility.
HEY-SIGN Collection
For HEY-SIGN, wool felt is the material of choice. Wool felt is a natural material and as such is breathable, abrasion-resistant, lightfast and dimensionally stable. It is renewable, naturally sustainable, free from harmful substances, robust and dirt-repellent. It is easy to clean and hard-wearing, absorbs sound, ensures a pleasant room climate and good acoustics. All HEY-SIGN products are not made from synthetic fibres, but from 100% pure new wool, an absolutely high-quality material.
One of HEY-SIGN's first products was a felt rug, the so-called rug weave. It has since become a classic in the Meerbusch-based manufacturer's programme. The weaving together of wide felt strips still gives the rug its unique three-dimensional structure today. Rugs and runners in many shapes, colours and sizes are now an integral part of the HEY-SIGN range. The robust, easy-care rugs made of wool felt create textile accents in the room and protect valuable floor coverings. Woven by hand in the HEY-SIGN manufactory, the natural felt material still looks particularly elegant. There are pretty figurative motifs for children. HEY-SIGN rugs can be produced up to a width and diameter of approx. 180 cm. To cover larger floor areas, connecting systems such as the Zipp rug are available.
In addition to rugs, HEY-SIGN offers acoustic elements, screens and room dividers, as well as felt stools, poufs and comfortable felt seat cushions for contemporary working situations. Thanks to smartphones, tablets and the like, work is becoming increasingly mobile. Flexible use in different locations is possible. At the same time, the desire for peace and quiet and opportunities to retreat is increasing.

Seating that stands out with its minimalist design language is ideal for use in reception areas, lobbies or lounge areas. Made from the natural, ecologically valuable material wool felt, coasters and placemats from HEY-SIGN create an appealing table design that touches the senses and offers a new perspective on the everyday. In addition to the classic rectangular, square and oval shapes for the laid table, HEY-SIGN creates many decorative ideas with different designs.
Our baskets and boxes keep things organised. From knitting yarn to papers and bread rolls, the colourful boxes and box sets from HEY-SIGN can be used to store small items and food in an attractive way. The soft woollen felt leaves no scratches. The boxes are perfect for use on sensitive surfaces. The material is breathable, abrasion-resistant, lightfast and dimensionally stable. Its natural wool grease prevents dirt from penetrating quickly. Baskets made of wool felt are therefore virtually indestructible and will give their owners many years of pleasure. The HEY-SIGN range offers many portable versions with practical carrying handles, as well as spacious shopping baskets, laundry baskets and waste baskets. These robust all-rounders are perfect for firewood in winter.
Small pencil cases and large bags, shoulder bags and spacious tote bags as well as briefcases and backpacks; all bag models from the Rhenish manufacturer HEY-SIGN are made of robust, hard-wearing wool felt and are almost all available in more than 40 beautiful HEY-SIGN colours. Whether as a charming office companion, a shopping bag or an elegant outfit, HEY-SIGN offers a variety of bags in different sizes. They are practical all-rounders and perfect companions for all eventualities in everyday life.
Made from high-quality merino wool, our products are hard-wearing and robust. Thanks to the firm texture of the 100% pure new wool felt, moisture rolls off the products. When it comes to care, cleaning with a damp cloth, a soft brush or stain treatment with a wool detergent is often sufficient. Read more about this in our care instructions.
