The seat cushion for the S 43 designer chair enhances the clean lines of the classic design with a functional and versatile solution. Depending on the selected version, it offers a tailored seating experience – from lightweight and flexible to more stable and substantial.
Made from double-layered wool felt in 2 x 3 mm or 2 x 5 mm thickness, the cushion stands out for its precise construction. An optional 10 mm filling can be added for increased comfort. The material is easy to care for and naturally dirt-repellent due to the wool’s lanolin content. Each cushion is handmade in Germany and available in a wide range of colours.

The wool felt used by HEY-SIGN by BWF Group is made from 100% pure new wool.
The wool felt used for our products in thicknesses of 2, 3 and 5 mm is certified according to OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 (certificate number: 02.0.5930; the certificate is available on request) and has been tested for harmful substances in accordance with the requirements of the standard.
The naturally occurring lanolin and the dense structure of the felt can help prevent water based soiling from penetrating the material immediately. Guidance on proper cleaning and care can be found in our care instructions.

Upon request, we will send you our wool felt colour chart free of charge. The material samples measure approximately 2 × 4 cm and are 3 mm thick. They allow you to assess the colour, surface and material quality. Our wool felt made from 100% pure new wool is available in more than 40 colours and three different thicknesses.
